Trascar S.p.A., the leader Company in industrial automation and technological partner of important reality of European metallurgy, continues to record positive results and confirms the growth trend underway for several years. After having more than doubled the volume of business between 2011 and 2014 - and closing 2015 budget with a sales revenue increasing by 42 % over the previous year, - for the Company located in Villavara of Bomporto the 2016 pre-balance (closed in September) marks further improvement trend. Thanks to sales growth in emerging markets of Eastern Europe and Asia, in the first nine months of this year Trascar has already equaled the overall sales revenue of 2015, and several important orders for systems have already been acquired to be delivered in 2017.
"For several years we record a continued growth of all key indicators that characterize our business: sales, investments, markets served, Company structure," says with satisfaction Giuseppe Gelati, President and Administrator of Trascar, which also underlines that "even for 2016 and for the first part of 2017 the development perspectives are confirmed, in the light of the results already acquired and the backlog which continues to grow. For the current year we expect to reach 25 million euro of sales revenue, thanks to the good results that come from the logistic and automated warehouses sectors. Thanks to our structure, in fact, we are able to seize opportunities offered by the very diversified markets and sectors in which we are present, overcoming the uncertainties and difficulties that are manifested in individual geographical areas or in different business areas. "
The metallurgical sector is contributing to the good performance of the Company; in particular, Trascar has realized several installations for warehouse storage and automation of internal logistics for cores and swages. The last plant built in order of time is the one initiated at an establishment of the German group Georg Fischer, where the production line was fully automated thanks to the extensive use of robots, the implementation of belt conveyors for handling and the use of an advanced automated warehouse. This solution guarantees to the Customer a greater efficiency in the production phase and prevents the onset of problems due to - for example - the pieces breakage. In detail, Trascar has realized the full automation of cores from foundry to the mould assembly, with robot handling to discharge of core shooters, cores storage inside an automated warehouse with vertical development with high-speed stacker crane, and the robotized automation of the mould assembly. The system supervises to the phases that include the core’s extraction from the producer machine, its palletization, the pallet storage inside an automatic warehouse and the subsequent dispatch to the mould assembly line, with the correct positioning in line. The system is composed of four anthropomorphic robots, one stacker crane and one series of automatic conveyors for handling of palletized cores which develops for over one hundred linear meters. Thanks to this system the different departments can produce in a completely free way, ensuring the maximum optimization of times and of production batches.
