Idra S.r.l.

Idra was founded in 1946 by the Pasotti family in Brescia Northern Italia and has become since then the global reference point for innovation and development of die casting technology.
Passion, competence and constant search for innovative solutions are some of the features of Idra team.
The reliability, solidity, user friendliness, innovative technology and ease of maintenance of all its products are the result of the job of Idra engineers.
Idra has proved the value of its know-how starting from the field of light aluminum alloys until that of zinc, magnesium and brass alloys, following a developing path marked by frequent achievements. Achievements that witness the story of a brand impressed in the heart of world die casting.
Idra production program also includes machines for specific production of structural castings with high Vacuum process (NOX) process and semi-solid technology (SSR) for special applications which require high mechanical properties.
Product range is from small tonnage die casting machines to the world’s largest fully automated cells for the automotive industry, supplied “turn key” ready for production.
The IDRA Sales team and after sales support network are present worldwide guaranteeing a highly professional, local service. An important addition is played by the services offered to Customers, such as training courses, technical advice and start-up support.
The range is now further augmented by the availability of a cost sensitive line of machines in the small medium range called Xpress. From 300 – 900 tons
Idra production program also includes machines for the specific production of Structural castings with NOX or semi-solid technology (SSR), used for the production of structural parts with high mechanical properties.
